Reporting into the Financial Controller, the Finance Manager will have overall responsibility for all aspects of the preparation of Financial and Management Accounts for ADCW, including managing a small team and deputising for the Financial Controller where necessary.
Assist in the programme preparation and management for Aspire Defence construction projects in Salisbury Plain.

Reporting to the Structural Design Lead, the candidate will be responsible for the modelling of structures in 3D using MasterSeries and Eurocodes in order to produce detailed drawings ready for construction.
To undertake the detailed management and liaison with individual trade foremen and supervisors in order to ensure that the design is complied with, and that installation is in accordance with required specification and standards.
To manage all production and associated functions on site, including pro-actively liaising with both the delivery team and the project manager / director about the programming and resourcing of the works, the Commercial function to monitor and review the preliminary contract costs against actual costs and delivery, the Planning function to monitor and review the project progress against the agreed timetable.
Accountable to the Commercial Manager/ Project Commercial Manager for commercial and contractual aspects of ABP (Army Basing Programme).
To deliver the construction programme in line with the agreed standards by taking responsibility for all day to day ‘on site’ issues within the post holder’s defined section of work.
Accountable to the Senior Quantity Surveyor/Commercial Manager for commercial and contractual aspects of ABP (Army Basing Programme).
Aspire Defence Capital Works is undertaking the construction phase of one of the largest building programmes in the South.
We are building or refurbishing over 300 buildings across sites in six locations in Wiltshire and Hampshire.

Most posts generally work to a standard 40 or 45 hour week.
