Salisbury Journal Awards
2016 Aspire Defence Services Limited were joint sponsors with Aspire Defence Limited and Aspire Defence Capital Works for the Salisbury Journal Sports Awards.
And in 2017 Aspire Defence Services Limited are joint Platinum sponsors for the Salisbury Journal Education Awards.
These awards cover many aspects of the teaching profession, volunteer staff, those who play a part in the wider community and show great leadership.
The Salisbury Journal Education Awards took place in June and Aspire was a key sponsor for the second year running, with our three entities joining forces to back the College Teacher of the Year Award.
Aspire’s winner – chosen by Allan Thomson (Chief Executive, ADL), Mark Carr (Managing Director, ADSL) and Paul Dempster (Managing Director, ADCW) – was Miss Gwen Saunders, Psychology, Sociology, Health & Social Care teacher at Salisbury 6th Form College.
The prestigious Awards dinner was held at the Milford Hall Hotel in Salisbury on 7 June. Presenting the Award on the night, Mike Hughes, HR Director, ADSL said, “As a large employer for Salisbury and the South, we are really keen to encourage young people into industry. So we recognise the important role played by inspiring teachers like Miss Saunders, in guiding and motivating young people as they begin to consider their career choices.”
Test Valley Business Awards
In 2017 ADSL is a sponsor for the Test Valley Business Awards which recognise businesses achieving success through innovative application of new ideas, technology or practices.
Aspire Defence Services Limited are proud sponsors of Sanctuary Magazine, the Ministry of Defence sustainability magazine produced by the Defence Infrastructure Organisation which manages and develops the estate.
