Approximately 2,000 staff deliver the technical, administrative and residential accommodation and associated services for military and civilian staff at Tidworth, Bulford, Perham Down, Netheravon – known as TidNBul Garrison; and Larkhill, Warminster and Aldershot Garrisons.
Services for the living and working accommodation are provided across the garrisons, supporting over 18,700 military personnel, 20% of the trained British Army and including 11,500 single en-suite bedrooms.
In the first year of service delivery, the 24 hour help desk provided at Tidworth Garrison alone, took over 35,500 calls of which over 30,000 enquiries were made by telephone, nearly 3,000 by fax, and over 1,000 and 500 by walk in customers and email, respectively.
Four years later during 2010, over 72,000 calls were received across all four helpdesks. These resulted in 48,157 reactive maintenance jobs where 117 were emergency, 15,296 were urgent and 32,744 were routine in their priority.
Today we average 5,900 calls per month which are answered within 30 seconds 97.6% of the time.
