AGSC UPDATE 1 December 2020
Customer Notice – Maintenance Update
Following on from the announcement in October regarding the problem with the pool inlets at the deep end, the investigation revealed further issues with two other inlets. Various options have been reviewed as to how to repair the supply pipes to these inlets, by the structural engineers.
We have been informed that to complete a satisfactory repair the extensive work will take several weeks. This programme will complete in May 2021, at which point we will be able to open the pool once again.
Understanding this news will impact all our plans for the New Year we want to give everyone notice as soon as we could. The work has started today, and we will monitor progress giving an update in April 2021.
We apologise for the inconvenience this will cause, but understandably the work needs to be completed and the method approved is the best way to take this forward.
Sincerely,
Aldershot Garrison Sports Centre
