Aspire Defence Services Limited<\/a> (ADSL) manages the building and Wiltshire Council manages the public leisure operations for the site.\u00a0 TLC was closed to the public over the summer holidays to enable ADSL to carry out essential upgrades to the building.<\/p>\nThe improved facilities include a new atrium roof and extensive roof refurbishment, new pool heating and hot water systems, newly resurfaced pool-side walkways and wetside changing rooms, new lockers in the wetside changing rooms, redecorated fitness and viewing areas, and refurbished squash courts.<\/p>\n
Allan Thomson, Chief Executive of ADL, said: <\/strong><\/p>\n\u201cThe project team from ADSL and their contractors have done an outstanding job in delivering a better, brighter amenity for Tidworth. \u00a0This significant investment supports our commitment to making soldiers\u2019 lives better, by ensuring they have access to high quality facilities, and these essential upgrades will ensure Tidworth Leisure Centre continues to operate safely, for the benefit of all military and civilian customers.\u201d<\/p>\n
