Since 2016, Aspire Defence Capital Works has delivered 250 New Builds & Refurbishments, 200 Demolitions and 2,600 new bed spaces for soldiers.<\/p>\n
Achieving a Lost Time Incident Rate of 0.18, which stands against an industry standard of 1.32, is an outstanding safety record and equates to Zero Harm for 99% of the time spent working on the site.<\/p>\n
Commenting on this milestone achievement, Capital Projects Director, Richard Tindal said,<\/p>\n
\u201cReaching 10-million-man hours in 5 years with less than one percent recorded harm could only have been achieved through the collaborative effort of every member of the team upholding the core value of \u2018Safety First\u2019 through several initiatives aimed at encouraging staff, partners, and customers to think about how they can protect their health and safety\u201d.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
Speaking further on the impact of this mindset, Alan McDonald, Head of Health and Safety for Aspire Defence Services Ltd noted that the company\u2019s health and safety approach is built around what it terms \u201cZero Harm 24\/7\u201d Courage to Care.<\/p>\n
