Aspire Defence Services Ltd Sponsors New Kit for Durrington FC U13 Stormers

In line with ADSL’s commitment to support community initiatives and activities, the company has recently sponsored new away kits for the Durrington FC U13 Stormers.
The sponsorship, which covers 16 outfield shirts with shorts and socks and one full purple goalkeeper kit, provided an opportunity for Aspire Defence Services Ltd to give back to the community while also encouraging and boosting the morale of the team.
The Stormers have a unique history as they are the second U13 team of Durrington FC, explains Nancy Tompsett, ADSL Security Administrator, whose son joined the team in 2018.
“There were a lot of youngsters that wanted to join at the time and the only way Durrington FC could make this happen was to make a second team”, she said, further commending the Team Manager, Ben Cadman and Coach, Darryl Clegg for their dedication and commitment to the progress of the team.
“Ben and Daryl, whose children also play for the team, give up their own time to help coach. Even if there is no training on, they both go out of their way during the holidays to get the team together and get some extra training or team building in. A lot of the players are from a military background, but it is so nice to see how much the team have come together and how far they have grown.
The parents hold a stall at each home game to help raise extra funds for the team, this is for any extra kit the team may need or to use for a team building exercise. On behalf of Ben (Team Manager) Daryl (Team Coach) The Stormers team and all parents, including myself, we would like to say a huge thank you to KBR Aspire Defence for the generous donation and for sponsoring the team”, she said.
Team Manager, Ben Cadman, while expressing his gratitude for the team’s new kit, noted that he had learned about the opportunity for sponsorship through Nancy.
“I’d like to say a massive thank you on behalf of myself and Daryl to Nancy and the team for getting this sponsorship over the line. Football equipment doesn’t come cheap and having this sponsorship has helped us for the next two years. Not only does the kit look amazing but it also keeps the team looking professional.”
The team has already set off on a great start since getting the new kit, winning the last two matches played so far this year. And according to Team Manager, Ben Cadman, a win at their final away game of the season against Lyndhurst this weekend, could have them clinch the 3rd position for the season. Fingers crossed that the magic of the new kit gets them through.
