A Night of Glamour and Achievement: Aspire Defence Shine a Spotlight on Salisbury Businesses as the Headline Sponsor of the Salisbury Chamber of Commerce Business Excellence Awards 2024

The Business Excellence Awards on Friday 22 March was a night filled with anticipation and excitement as the brightest minds and driving forces behind Salisbury’s thriving entrepreneurial landscape came together to celebrate their achievements. 

As the Headline Sponsor of the event, we were truly honoured to have the opportunity to support and recognise the outstanding businesses in Salisbury. Our Head of Quality, Natalie Shoemark, eloquently captured the sentiment behind our involvement, stating, “It is a privilege for us to operate in this extraordinary city, supporting the British Army and fulfilling our mission of ‘Making Soldiers’ Lives Better’. As a company who actively uses Southwest based business, we are committed to the prosperity of Salisbury and its surrounding communities. Our employees, many of whom call this region home, rely on the exceptional businesses that we celebrate here tonight.” 

Adding to the excitement of the evening, we had the privilege of presenting not just one, but two awards, The Large Business Award which was awarded to D&N and The Lifetime Achievement Award which was awarded to Mary Webb. This was a special highlight as we witnessed first-hand the incredible talent and innovation that exists within Salisbury’s business community.  

The Business Excellence Awards also served as a platform for networking and collaboration, as business leaders and entrepreneurs had the opportunity to connect and exchange ideas throughout the evening. From The Hair Extension Cave winning the Service Excellence Award to Emma Coombs from Mark Jones Eye Care winning the Rising Star Award, the event showcased the diversity and strength of Salisbury’s business ecosystem, highlighting the innovative solutions and strategies that have propelled these companies to success.  

The evening concluded with a sense of optimism and inspiration, as attendees left with a renewed sense of pride. The Awards not only celebrated past achievements but also set the stage for future growth and a drive for continued excellence, leaving no uncertainty that Salisbury will continue to thrive in the years to come.
