Quantity Surveyor – Asset Management
We’re looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our Asset Management team and play a key role in planning and delivering Life Cycle works across a large, complex estate. You’ll help ensure assets remain compliant, serviceable and ready for Hand Back, while supporting value‑for‑money decisions and strengthening long‑term forecasting.
Working closely with Aspire Defence Services Ltd (ADSL), you’ll analyse tender returns, prepare and manage Qualifying Change in Law (QCiL) claims, maintain the Life Cycle Risk Register, and contribute to developing maintain/replace strategies. You’ll also support financial reporting to senior stakeholders and provide evidence during audit processes.
What you’ll bring:
- Degree in a technical discipline (e.g., surveying, engineering)
- MRICS Chartered Surveyor
- Strong analytical skills and experience managing multi‑project budgets
- Knowledge of procurement routes and contractor‑side QS experience
- Ability to work collaboratively across organisations and challenge constructively
- Full driving licence and ability to obtain MOD Security Clearance (SC)
Desirable:
- CSCS card
- Experience with PFI contracts or MOD/public‑sector clients
