ADSL and The British Heart Foundation

When ADSL staff selected The British Heart Foundation (BHF) as their chosen charity there was nothing half-hearted about their commitment. They have organised coffee mornings, bake sales, raffles and competitions. They have donated 155 bags of merchandise to the BHF charity shops (and plan to do more) and they have taken part in Roadshows organised by the business where they could buy from BHF pop-up shops, have a Health MOT, buy healthy smoothies, take part in a bikeathon and learn about CPR.

Early in the year ADSL staff voted BHF as ADSL’s chosen charity of 2017 reflecting the business’ long-standing interest in the health and wellbeing of its people and its commitment to the wider community.

At the time of writing, the total raised is over £7,000 with more expected by the end of the year so that we are well on our way to our £10,000 target.

Jane Turner, Fundraising Manager at the BHF said, ‘Our research has already helped save thousands of lives. Every pound raised from Aspire will be spent on funding new scientific breakthroughs’.
