ADSL Demonstrates Commitment to Employee Volunteering and Community Support

On Saturday 24 June 2023, Aspire Defence Services Limited (ADSL), a leading sponsor of the Tidworth Armed Forces Day family fun event, showcased its dedication to supporting employees who generously contribute their time to worthwhile causes. The event, held at the Tidworth Polo Pitches, provided an opportunity for ADSL employees to demonstrate their commitment to the community.

The Family Funday, which kicked off at 1pm, delighted attendees with an array of entertainment options, particularly for the younger audience. Food and drink stalls offered delicious treats, ensuring a delightful experience for all. Later in the day, the music event took centre stage, featuring renowned bands such as Off the Cuff, The Dusk Hounds, and Deeploy Deejays.

ADSL employees played a pivotal role in planning and setting up the event, dedicating their volunteer day to this important cause. Robbie Boyd, Maintenance Supervisor at Bulford; Zara Davidson, Water Hygiene Heating & Hot Water Operative at TidNBul; and Heather Prindiville, Fire Surveyor based at the Aspire Business Centre, generously provided their expertise to ensure the event’s success.

Beginning their day at 7:00am, they meticulously prepared the arena and car parking, assembled gazebos, set up barriers, and arranged essential amenities. Their tireless efforts did not go unnoticed, as an estimated three to four thousand people attended the day and night events, resulting in £1500 raised for The Tidworth and Ludgershall Mens Shed charity.

Robbie Boyd, Maintenance Supervisor at Bulford, expressed his gratitude to ADSL he stated,

“Once again, a big thank you to Aspire Defence Services Limited for their continued support and sponsorship which helps this day to be run each year.”
