Aspire Defence Services Limited Celebrates 13th Consecutive Gold with Prestigious RoSPA President’s Award
Behind every safe workplace are a thousand everyday decisions made with care. For Aspire Defence Services Limited (ADSL), those decisions have once again been recognised.
ADSL has been awarded the RoSPA President’s Award, marking 13 consecutive Gold Awards for outstanding health and safety performance throughout 2025. The achievement is especially significant as it comes during the 70th anniversary of the RoSPA Health and Safety Awards, a milestone year celebrating seven decades of progress in accident prevention and workplace safety.
The RoSPA Awards, run by the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents, are the world’s largest and most respected health and safety awards programme, attracting around 2,000 entries from nearly 60 countries each year. The President’s Award is reserved for organisations that demonstrate sustained excellence over many years, recognising not just strong systems, but consistent behaviours, leadership and shared responsibility.
For ADSL, safety is not confined to policies or procedures. It is built into daily life across the PAC Estate, from maintaining buildings to delivering essential services that support soldiers and their families. Whether that is responding to repairs, managing projects or taking calls on the Helpdesk, teams focus on doing the job properly, looking out for one another and ensuring everyone returns home safe at the end of the day.
This latest award reflects the collective effort of our people, working together across sites and locations, and highlights a strong culture where people feel confident to speak up, challenge unsafe practices and continuously learn – not because they have to, but because it’s the right thing to do.
Julia Small, RoSPA’s Growth Director, said:
“RoSPA congratulates Aspire Defence Services Limited (ADSL), on their RoSPA Health and Safety Award. The high standards ADSL has achieved are the result of hard work and dedication, of which ADSL, should be rightfully proud and which RoSPA is delighted to honour. 2026 is a landmark year for the RoSPA Awards as we reflect on how far workplace safety has come in 70 years. It is because of the commitment of health and safety leaders like ADSL, that people today are safer at work than in the past, and it sets an inspiring example for the future”.
Dee Arp, NEBOSH Chief Quality Officer and the Head Judge of the RoSPA Awards, said:
“NEBOSH is proud to be the headline sponsor of the RoSPA Awards. They provide an opportunity to celebrate excellence in health and safety, while also helping to strengthen a culture of care, accountability and continuous improvement. These awards are a powerful reminder that protecting people transcends borders, and that supporting employees to return home safe, healthy and happy each day is fundamental to long-term success and resilience”.
As RoSPA marks 70 years of life-saving work, ADSL is proud to be part of that legacy, demonstrating that long-term commitment, teamwork and attention to the smallest details can make a lasting difference.
