Aspire Defence shortlisted for prestigious industry award
Recognising the success of the Army Basing Programme
Aspire Defence and the Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO) have been shortlisted for a prestigious industry award, to recognise our successful delivery of new and improved infrastructure to support the Army Basing Programme under Project Allenby/Connaught (PAC).
The annual global Partnership Awards continue to be established as the biggest and most prestigious networking event in the industry calendar, open to all organisations, projects and individuals based in the Europe, Middle East, Africa (EMEA) and Asia Pacific regions.
The Awards bring together key decision-makers from the public and private sectors to recognise and reward outstanding achievements in public-private partnerships.
The Army Basing Programme (ABP) is a variation to the Project Allenby/Connaught (PAC) contract. Our construction and enhancement of single living, working and technical accommodation across the PAC estate since 2016 enabled the withdrawal of British troops from Germany in summer 2019, and continues to make soldiers’ lives better.
Allan Thomson, Chief Executive of Aspire Defence Limited, said:
“Successful delivery of the Army Basing Programme – and indeed Project Allenby/Connaught over the long-term – would not be possible without the effective working partnerships between Aspire Defence, the DIO and the military customer. We are delighted to have received this recognition.”
Winners will be announced on 21 May. More info on the Partnership Awards can be found here: https://bit.ly/2IkdJ1d
