Aspire’s Finance Team Invests in Nature

Members of the Aspire Defence finance team recently swapped spreadsheets for spades when they volunteered their time with Andover Trees United, a local charity dedicated to bringing communities together through conservation and outdoor learning.
The team spent a morning at Harmony Woods near Andover helping to clear a flower meadow of hay and to mulch newly planted willow trees. Their efforts will support the site’s biodiversity and ensure the woodland continues to flourish for years to come.
Andover Trees United is a community-led charity working with schools, volunteers, and partners to create and care for natural spaces, while inspiring young people to take an active role in conservation.
Financial Controller Emily Keyworth said:
“It was refreshing to step away from our desks and spend time outdoors together. Volunteering with Andover Trees United gave us the chance to try something different while supporting a great local cause.”
The volunteering day is part of Aspire’s wider commitment to backing community projects and making a positive difference locally.
