Celebrating Women in Defence – watch the video
The Women in Defence UK Awards took place at the Imperial War Museum, London, on Tuesday 6 November and were attended by all three Aspire businesses.

The annual event recognises the significant contribution made by women working across defence.
Aspire Defence sponsored the ‘Most Collaborative’ Award. Our winner was Sarah Padley, Defence Intelligence, who was nominated for her work establishing relationships in the intelligence community. Her citation read:
“The classified nature of much of Sarah’s phenomenal work means that it often goes unsung. Collaborative to the core, Sarah has nurtured a high performing team that consistently delivers an output that is respected at the highest levels of partner agencies and government departments.”
Following this year’s Awards, the organisers are keen to develop relationships between each sponsor and their winner, so we hope that Sarah will be able to visit Aspire Defence in the near future and see the business ‘in action’.
