Aspire celebrates business excellence in Salisbury 

Aspire Defence Limited was once again delighted to support the business community in Salisbury as it sponsored the Large Business of the Year Award at the Salisbury Business Excellence Awards 2025, won by Andrew Waring Associates.

The Awards are organised by the Salisbury & District Chamber of Commerce and the Salisbury Business Improvement District, and celebrate the breadth and magnitude of local businesses.

Aspire Chief Executive Allan Thomson presented the award to the winning team, an engineering practice of structural, civil and marine design consultants, at a special event at The Stones Hotel in High Post.

He said: “These awards recognise the hard work, innovation and commitment that hundreds of businesses and thousands of people put in, year in year out, to make Salisbury what it is.

“I am proud that Aspire’s sponsorship helps celebrate the achievements of local people in creating jobs, providing training opportunities and giving great service.”

The Large Business of the Year Award celebrates the success of a business that with over £750k turnover and criteria include the growth of the business and market presence established over time.
