Celebrating ABP

Celebrations have taken place to recognise the hard work of Aspire staff in achieving the Army Basing Programme (ABP) contract variation.

On 12 December 2016, Aspire staff were joined by representatives of the Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO) and Army at a special reception at the Aspire Business Centre in Tidworth, complete with a celebratory cake in the letters ‘ABP’.

Allan Thomson, Chief Executive of Aspire Defence Limited, said:

“These events were a great opportunity to acknowledge the effort and dedication demonstrated by all involved in the months – and years – running up to contract signing, and to thank them for their contribution.  The ABP contract variation is an outstanding achievement, which will enable us to build on our excellent relationship with the DIO and the Army.  The hard work will of course continue and that’s how we know the Army will receive a fantastic product.”
