Minister for Defence People and Veterans visits Aspire

MIN DPV on arrival at Aspire

Tobias Ellwood MP, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State and Minister for Defence People and Veterans, (MIN DPV), visited Aspire Defence on 1 August 2017.

The purpose of the visit was to familiarise the Minister with Army Basing Programme progress across Salisbury Plain Training Area, to meet the integrated Army and Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO) ABP team and key Industry partners, including Aspire Defence and Lovells, the construction firm delivering new Service Families’ Accommodation.

Following presentations from Mark, General Wardlaw and Allan, the Minister was given a minibus tour of ABP construction sites including various locations on Larkhill Garrison.
